Website delivery & security

When you visit this website, the web server processes connection data such as your IP address, time of request, requested address, response status and browser information. This is needed to deliver the website, investigate errors and protect it against misuse. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in a reliable and secure website under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Log data is deleted routinely.

When you contact me

The contact form asks for your name, your email address and your message. The form sends this information to me by email so that I can reply. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in answering your request under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. I keep correspondence as long as it is needed to handle the request.

Cookies & your choice

The consent banner stores your choice in the first-party cookie wonderful_cookie_and_consent_banner for up to 365 days. This is necessary to respect your decision and is not used to track you (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, § 165(3) TKG 2021). You can change or withdraw optional consent at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.

Optional statistics with Matomo

With your consent I use Matomo, hosted at matomo.thaler-software.eu, to see which pages are read. Matomo is loaded only after you agree in the consent banner; the legal basis is Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 165(3) TKG 2021. Matomo then processes visited pages, referrer, time, device and browser information, a shortened IP address and the cookies _pk_*. No data is passed on to third parties.

Fonts, photos & links

Fonts and photos are served from this website; no third-party font or image services are loaded. Links to LinkedIn, Xing, YouTube, Printables and other websites only take you to that provider when you follow them. The destination then processes your visit under its own privacy information.

Your rights

Subject to the GDPR conditions, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction and portability of your personal data. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent at any time. You may also complain to the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde). I do not make automated decisions with legal effects about website visitors.
